How do I turn off the Time For Regular Service message

 

make sure you have mileage on Trip odometer 1 or 2.... (At lease 0.1 miles or something CANNOT BE ZERO)
1.) KEY in OFF position
2.) Hold down trip odometer reset button (KEEP HOLDING WITH LEFT HAND)
3.) Turn ket to position # 2 (Where all warning lights lights up)
4.) You will see the odometer goes to ZERO (KEEP HOLDING)
5.) Youlet go of the odometer reset button when your ORIGINAL TRIP ODOMETER MLEAGE COMES BACK TO WHERE IT WAS in the beginning.
6.) Cycle the key it should be gone.

IF FAILS WILL NEED TO REPEAT STEP and use TRIP ODOMETER # 2...
IF IT FAILS AGAIN.... HAVE to drive vehicle until mileage accumulate on the trip odometer...

(2002 vehicle is an odd year since will not flash warning triangle an does not have a flashing service light) Hope this helps.
