just bought the car and did not even bother to check operation of the sunroof...what a dumba__!

the screen portion makes a heck of a racket when manually sliding back and forth...the glass portion now won't close all the way..it will open, but only close about 75%, then I hit the vent mode and it closes another couple inches and stops....hmmmm. Any clues? Thinking about taking it apart and replacing the guides but don't know how many it takes ...are there guides for the sun shade portion as well? Is this a real PITA?
