Default 2003 S80 t6 ooling fan problem

Hey everybody this is my first post. I own a 2003 dark blue S80 T6 with 29,000 miles on it. I have a problem with the cooling fan, it will run after the car is turned off untill the battery is completely drained. I investigated this after yesterday morning when my car was completely dead and figured this out. I wanted to know if anyone has had this problem and if there was any answers out there on why it is happening and any info on how to correct it. Everytime I turn off the car now i have to unhook the power to the fan so it won't drain the battery. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks - Frank

Check and see if your car is involved in the fan recall.

If not most likely the fan is bad.

Simply Replace the fan...

Open the hood and look at the electric box on the fan. If it has a black plastic cover, then get to the Dealer for the fan recall.
