Default 2004 S-80 Both Headlightlights went out

Was out of town and headlights were working fine, went into a restaurant and came out, started the S-80 and both headlights did not come on. Still are not working.

Any clues as to why?

Thanks..

The headlights on both sides would blow at the exact same time?

This is a total shot in the dark (pun intended), but is there a fuse dedicated to the headlights?

the low and high are both powered by separate fuses but are grounded in the same place if the high beams work then you should have a good ground. the high and low beams are powed up through relays controlled buy the cem. you have to start some were i would start at the most basic and the thing that breaks the most the bulbs. your working on a car anything is possible. both bulbs blowing at the same time? sure why not.
