ive feared it for a while but it is for sure. I drive down the highway and all of a sudden , no acceleration. or movement for that matter. I am currently exporing my options and need some input. It is a 2003 XC90 T6 . I scanned the codes and it said p0751 which in my scanner book says SHIFT SOLENOID MALFUNCTION. What can i do about this, could i just send it to get rebuilt? thanks any responses will help.

 

There are many horror stories with the 4 speed tranny (made by GM) on the T6 on this Forum and Swedespeed.com. I've heard that Volvo doesn't let their dealers repair the Volvo trannys and that they have to be shipped to Sweden for replacement/repair. Check with your dealer first and go from there..
