Hi

I have a 2004 S80 T6 Executive and as far as I am aware I should have a TV module in the car but when I select TV (on the rear screens) the screens just go blank. I have a box looking like the TV module on top of the electronics stack in the boot but am unsure what it is.

I have been to my local Volvo dealer but being Spanish they are reluctant to give me any info until I book the car in for some work. All I got was: "we will see what it is when we plug the car into the computer"

If anybody could shed some light on what the box at the top of the stack is I would really appreciate it.

So you get no video to show at all, not from DVD player or from what's picked up from the antenna? And has it ever worked?

 

Yes, the dvd plays fine via the two rear screens as does anything that is plugged into the audio/video inputs. Its only when I select TV that everything goes dead :-(

 

My car doesnt have these features but Im thinking since all TV signals went digital or what-ever in the U.S. the anttena wont work....just like a home television. Just a guess

 

Do you have XM or Serius radio? I think they offer TV now too.

 

Xm or Serius radio? Sorry not sure what you mean. All I know is that it says HU-801 on the front!
