Just bought a 2007 S80 w/under 15K miles. The car is in excellent condition and I couldn't be happier, EXCEPT: The last few days the blower will not function when the car is first started. The display shows that it is being increased/decreased, but no air is flowing through the vents. After a few miles it will kick on and work just fine. I've fiddled with it every way I can, but it only works when it decides it wants to.

The most notable time it kicked on was after crossing a set of railroad tracks. It seemed to jar it into working.

I initially hoped it was just a fuse, but the on-off nature of it makes me a little more pessimistic.

The car is still under warranty but the dealer is 50 miles away and I would love to take care of it without leaving it for a day.

Any suggestions?
