Default 2007 S80 Lug Nut Torque

Like the title states...I am looking for the torque for my 2007 S80 lug nuts. I just put on some winter wheels/tires and am looking for the correct torque. I talked to the Volvo service department a couple days ago and they said 103ft lbs, however, the owners manual says 62ft lbs?? Any input would be greatly appreciated. I need to get them to the correct torque asap. Thanks in advance.

62 pounds is probably the minimum. When I blew a tire on my 2000 S80 this past May I changed the tire and tightened the bolts with the tire iron provided. I'm sure it was in the vicinity of 62 lb's...I don't think you can go too wrong with this one, just check it for a couple of days to ensure it's not loosening. Personally I would go with 103 just to make sure it's really on there, the only downside is if you ever get a flat it's gonna be a pain to get that blown tire off with that kind of torque.
