Battery CCA 600 vs 650?
The CCA is just the number of amps the battery can put out. Not the amount that will be transmitted to the ignition, etc. The voltage sent to each system is regulated. There's really no need to go way above the recommended CCA. The expense goes up and it really isn't worth it.
Team,
Thanks for the reply. After I posted that msg I talked with the Service MGR at my dealership and he confirmed that also. After calling around the Volv Dealer was actually cheaper than was NAPA and Sears for a battery. Figure that one out.

Always go with the most CCA's that you can get within your price range. Those extra amps can never hurt!

...........especially if you live in an area where it gets cold in the winter
