2007 s80 stuck in park

2007 s80 stuck in park , 23k miles, problem only happens when very cold. When car heats up or runs with heater on for 15 minutes shifter works fine.

I’m not sure with Volvo’s but my Cadillac STS will not allow you to take it out of park until the RMS are under 1,000
