I have a 2008 Volvo S80 T6, with 120,000+ miles on it. I have recently started to hear a whistle or a squeeky sound coming from the engine bay. I read around online and figured out it was a PCV Valve/Oil trap. (whistle stops when oil filler cap, or oil dip stick is pulled. a lot of suction is going on.) Now i found many remedies on how to fix the problem. Not to big of a deal... the only thing is that I cant seem to find any information on how to fix my 2008 T6 engine. I cant find the parts online I need. The only thing that i can find are parts for older models. Is this a different fix than the others? I don't know where to start. What parts????

I was told that the part that needs to be replaced is the Oil Filter housing. The whole thing that your oil filter gets screwed into. It has the PCV valve thing built into it. The rubber diaphragm inside of it can become perforated and then tear.

No these engines don't have the same problem as the 5 cyl. The problem is still the same but the pcv is not the oil filter housing. On the t6 the pcv box is located on top of the engine.
