One of the features I love about my 2011 S80 is the USB port for me to plug in a flash drive with all my music on it. I currently run a 16 gig drive, but it is near capacity, so I bought a 32 gig thumb drive. My 2011 won't recognize the 32gig, but I had a chance to try it in a 2014 S60, and it played with no problem. My question is, could there be a software upgrade available to up the capacity for the USB port recognition?

I am a newbie on Volvo forum but it sounds like it may be a formatting issue. Is your new drive formatted NTFS or FAT32?

 

It is formatted FAT32. Same as my 16Gig.
