#3 misfiring
Hi everyone
I have a problem with a 99 S80. Rough idling and poor acceleration. Message says emission control servicing or something like this. I scanned and it gives me a 0303 Cylinder #3 misfiring.
If I disconnect the wires to the coil I get no change in RPM but if I diconnect #4 wires the RPM goes down a bit. I switched #3 and #4 coils and #3 is still the problem. I switched the #3 and #4 plug and #3 is still the problem. I want to rule out the injector cause the catalictic smells real bad like unburn fuel (rotten egg smell). It's either a locked open injector or bad wiring feeding the coil?
Hope somebody had a similar problem and can direct me to the problem.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Reggie

Problem solved, when I swaped the 3 and 4 coils I put them back at the same place by mistake. This afternoon I went out and did it again and found a bad coil. $78 for a new one at a dealership, not bad to solve the problem now the car runs nice and no code.
