Default ABS module rebuild

Help Tech! I've read on this forum a while back about having the ABS control module rebuilt. Gave instructions on how to remove, drive without it, and a company and address to send it to. I've searched this forum but can't find anything now. Do you have access to old threads? My 2000 S80 is giving me the STC and ABS warnings again so I imagine it's the same thing as last time....replace the module. I bought a used one last time. Would like to rebuild this time.

Greatly appreciate it! My project for next week!

One clarifying question.....If I remember correctly the thread from some time ago said that you can still drive with the ABS module out. Correct?

Thanks, Kevin

That's what the wife did... I covered the system with two plastic bags and tied it off to ensure no dust/dirt, etc., got up there.

I am going to send mine to this guy... Tech recommends him.

Only $140 for a rebuild. That includes shipping / handling and $300 insurance.

Here is a very good place I found...

Auto and Truck Electronics 1-866-983-6688
They repair all electronics on a car or truck..such as ECM..ABS Modules etc..and their prices are really good right now...
I sent them a AC Control Module out of my Lexus and they did an excellent job..and a friend of mine sent them his computer and they rebuilt it and also did an excellent job.

Their address is 212 East Washington St.
Rogersville, Tennessee 37857

Call them at the above 800 number..really good people to deal with and a fast 2 day turn around on most items.

Good Luck and Happy Motoring...
