After market Cd changer?

I am looking to add a cd changer to my 99 S80 T6. I bought a sony 10 disc cd changer that plays through the fm band however the sound quality is terrible.

Are there any after market cd changers that will work with the HU 611 factory head unit that it came with. Also, the source **** does not offer the cd changer mode, can this be programmed into the head unit by the volvo techs. Please give me some hope!

Try this website: www.USA-SPEC.com They make a number of aftermarket units that plug right in. Maybe they have the right one for you. I just bought, and had installed an iPod interface made by them for my daughter's 2002 V70. It allows her to play her iPod right through the HU-613 factory stereo. It sounds great and works great.

The HU 611 is not a very good unit. I would recommend buying a good head unit (approximately $200-300) and using it in conjunction with your cd changer. You can visit this site and it will find all of the models compatible with your car.
