m getting a bad odour when the a/c is 1st turned on but then goes away on my 2006 S80..but the cabin filter is clean and not clogged as i thought..any ideas??

 

Need the vitals about the car and what the odor smells like.

 

If it is a sweet smell, could be antifreeze leaking from the heater core.

If it is a foul smell, may be mold and other nasty things growing in the heater box. I had good luck spraying Tilex (contains bleach which kills bacteria and mold) into the heater air inlet under the hood with the fan on. Best way to do this is remove the cabin air filter before you do it so it goes through the entire heater box.
