Unhappy Body work

This weekend while backing out I hit a light pole on my passenger side. Mirror cover is broken, I only slightly scraped the door, broke my side marker, but I banged up my fender pretty bad. I'm probably going to buy a new one but I was wondering if any one out there has removed one? I'm thinking the bumper will have to come off. If I can fix it for less than the 500 deductible it would be great!

less than five hundred dollars? you have got to be kidding! if you are not kidding you have to be living in 1975 at best, and even that is pushing it on a repair such as yours, even with used parts, I am not trying to be mean, but body work is hard work, and to do it right is costly, I know this as I am master certified in autobody collision, I work in a high end mercedes shop, and as we speak , you should see the hack work done on say a $50,000 car that we get in, so having said that, go get a price on fixing your car from a quality shop, and a lower end shop, I think still you will be educated on what this kind of work costs. best regards, beefheart.
