Last week I had an issue with my 2005 S80 with the interlock issue happening. I was able to fix it by clicking the remote door lock 5 times. But the brake lights intermittently would stay on, including while driving, along with some idiot lights on the driver's dash even when the car was shut off and keys removed. Also, when I got it home and tried to lock the doors, manually and by remote, they would automatically unlock. Also the lighted ring around the key ignition was staying lit, and the brake lights would stay on/off intermittently.

The dealer disconnected the battery over the weekend and were unable to duplicate the symptoms. Anyone have this issue before?

 

sounds like a computer fart. see if it comes back and go from there.

 

It was a bad module. Not a cheap part by any means, but it's fixed. thanks!
