Brake Noise

Brake Noise
Need help. I have installed the brake pads which I purchased from FCP Euro.
Though they are working fine but I feel the noise while braking or sometimes not..Please do understand it is not noise we normally feel with cheap brake pads....the voice is like hard...it does comes on very slow speed without applying brakes.... .....
Is this normal with these brake pads (Volvo Brake Pads Front (S60 V70 S80 XC70) - Bosch BP794) Mechanic said that is because they are not original Volvo pads. But I suspect some thing else.
Additional note:
Drums are in a good condition (Did not need grinding)
I used CRC Brake pad cleaner while installing and sprayed all over including calipers.
What I suspect .....it might something to do with calipers or they might need greasing.

I'd give the new pads a few good miles to properly 'bed in' to the existing surfaces of the rotors unless the steering is pulling unevenly to one side under braking.
That may indicate a frozen calliper piston.
It is also possible also that the new pads you purchased are of a different composition to the ones replaced, which would feel different to what your accustomed to. (i.e. softer or harder)
