Default brake pads

We have an 02 S80 needing brake pads replaced...thought I would go ahead and do front and rear. Rotors look smooth as a baby's behind. Is changing out the pads only really difficult on this model? Anything "special" I need to know about on this car?

Brake pads are an easy job. You need a 7MM hex for the caliper bolts. Get good pads like Akebono or Volvo. I would not mess with the rotors unless they pulsate or shake the car when braking. You can usually get 2-3 pad swaps from a set of factory rotors.

Yes, I had already decided on the Wagner's today...and you hit the price dead on, too! Thanks!

Ah yes! The Wagner brand is also a good choice! I use there "Severe Duty" pads on a lot of the medium duty trucks I service.
