Break Fluid low light but
it not, of course.
2005 S80
About two months ago my son noticed the light, and it was a bit low, at 56,000 miles with the original pads I assumed that he was driving on borrowed time (still, they're mainly highway miles, the car has spent most of it's time parked in a garage). I added some fresh fluid to get him back to school and all looked fine. Alas, the light returned several hours from home. Unconcerned he waited until returning home 2 months later to tell me. On inspection, the fluid level level is right where it was after topping off, the pads and rotors actually look pretty good, and the light seems to come and go of it's own free will. Car stops fine, pedal doesn't "sink" under constant pressure, and the calipers all look clean, as does the master cylinder.
I thought that the fragile Antilock Module problem was fixed prior to '05 and am wondering if the fluid level sensor could be bad?
Any ideas.
