Default break fluid leak help

I noticed a 6" diameter spot on the driveway from a fluid leak in the driver-side wheel well. And when I checked the break fluid reservoir, I found only the area around the cap is wet. The level of the fluid is above the full line.
The front break pads were replaced two weeks ago.
I wonder whether the leak is due to the new pads or full break fluid?

if you did find brake fluid and the master cylinder has fluid around the cap , the reservoir probably over flowed when the pads were replaced and the pistons were pushed back in .may be fluid that leaked down from the over flow . Still it's best to remove the wheel and look closely at all brake sytem parts for leakage : Calipers , hoses , metal lines , master cylinder and abs unit . Vtech
