Car not starting when the key is first inserted
Hello all,
I have a 2007 S80 AWD v8. For the most part there are 0 issues with it.
With that said, the Start/Stop button nevers work the first time the key is inserted. When I say it doesn't work, I get nothing from it. No turn over, no lights and no indication that the button was ever pressed. I can press the button over and over again, but it never does anything unless I first remove the key. If I remove the key, reinsert it, wait a few seconds and then hit the Start/Stop button, it almost always works.
If it doesn't work again, then I need to remove the key and reinsert it all over again. Any thoughts where I should be looking for troubleshooting?
