Tech? anyone.... the car wont start, i backed out of the drive way, put it in drive, started to go 15ft later it died out....pushed it back beside the road.. i thought it was out of gass i put a lil over 1 gal. in it, i can still hear the fuel pump when i turn the key on.. when i try to start it, it kicks 1 time then nothing.. just turns.. any other ideas?

 

Kind of hard to say without being there.
First inspect all the hoses and make sure none fell off.
Next try to get to the Fuel pressure check port. It is on the end of the fuel rail. It looks like a tire Valve. Push it in and see if gas comes out.

Thats what I would look at first.

 

it was out of gass... i put a gal in but i guess that dident help... needed more dont know why

 

Was the Gas guage still reading you had some?

If so one of the sending units are bad. There is 2 of them one for each side.

 

it said 1/4 when it ran out? theres phuckin 2 of them? where are they well i know 1 is in the tank... volvos are phucked lol

 

They are both in the tank one on the drivers side and one on the passenger side.

Sorry to say but the Dealer can tell which one is bad. They are under the rear seats.
