changed maf now s80 wont turn over

Exclamation changed maf now s80 wont turn over

Hi I am new to the volvo world picked an 01 2.4 (140 bhp) s80 great car amazing ride but started with limp mode put it on comp and came up with a maf problem so i changed it now car wont even turn over when turning key it is turning engine but dont sound like it fireing tried changing it back with old maf with same results please help.

Hi Lain, welcome to the forum.

Turning over and cranking is the same thing. It sounds like you are trying to say that the car isn't firing. Can you hear the fuel pump priming? Have you tried to start it with the MAF unplugged?

A car needs 4 things to start. Fuel, air, spark, and compression.

thats what i ment sorry yes i have unplugged the maf and tried it again still not firing

my next thought is towards throttle body but hard to say i have a guy heading over with a pod to plug in and find out what code if any and clear the maf fault that was on it he cleared it last time then happened once more before i changed the maf
