On the 2.5turbo models, I have been saving up for some of the snabb or ipd silicone intake and coolant hoses. I can't seem to find any aftermarket hoses the connect from the intercooler to the turbo (the one that goes over top the motor). Just wondering if anyone has found any? And for the technical guys, would the motor see any performance gains with a bigger hose? I was thinking of fabricating one with aluminum piping to make it look better than the plastic hose, and make the diameter wider??

 

could you use the S60 R type engine hose?

 

If it fit well I wouldnt mind getting one from an R-model. at the same time, I wouldnt want to seem like some of the guys who try to make their s80 look like a 60R. i have some pvc pipe laying around and i am going to start measuring and fabricating my own piece. i really just want to get rid of the plastic hose, but I would be even more motivated if there would be a benifit to having a larger charge hose. thanks
