i took my 2000 s80 to have the timing belt replaced. the mechanic replaced the belt, timing gears, water pump, camshaft seals. i went to pick up the car. but now the climate controls do not work. nothing works below the radio. so it is still there. could they have blown the CCM or is there a reset. i just paid the guy $1200.00 and cant drive the car plz help before i go crazzyyyy

The module might have died. Try to disconnect the battery and connect the positive and negative terminals together for 5 minutes and then connect again and see if it works.

I have this exact same problem. I am an idiot when it comes to cars. How do you connect the negative and positive terminals?

Under the trunk floor panel is the battery. Remove the hold downs that hold the battery tight. Disconnect the battery wires from the terminals, then hold the two wires together. Then hook them back up where they were. ALWAYS be carefull to put red back on the + terminal and black on the - terminal.

You are draining the capasitors in the entire car when you hold the cables together.
