What type of coolant do you guys use? I have a 2000 S80 non-turbo and it says volvo coolant only. Is there anything I can just get at Murray's, like dex-cool or is it special? Also, I received the low coolant message today, but I don't see or notice any leaks but the level is below the minimum line, so I know it's low. Any ideas?

The original formula was Zerex G-04 dyed blue for Volvo; the next Gen is now Zerex G-05 dyed blue. The MFR of Zerex is Valvoline. OTC for Volvo is Zerex G-05 colored yellow/gold, available at NAPA or Car Quest. If you put non-compatible anti-freeze in your vehicle the protocol is to flush the system before damage is done.
