Default Could my front hub bearing be bad?

I have had this problem for a while now and I'm getting frustrated that I can't figure it out.
My car shakes/vibrators pretty badly when I first drive it in the morning and get on the highway. Its most noticeable when I get on the highway BUT it slowly goes away after about 8 or 10 minutes afterwards.
I have had the wheels all balanced and then today I had them rotated and balanced- no change at all.
I thought maybe it was one of the front hubs so while it was on the lift I tried to shake both front wheels to see if I could feel any play- but I couldn't.
Any thoughts what this could be?
Its a 2004 S80 with 95k. The front rotors and pads are only 6 months old and its been doing this even before I got those replaced. And no it doesn't shake worse when I apply the brakes.
I was thinking maybe motor mounts but then I remembered that its the speed of the car, not the engine speed that makes it shake.
Thanks

I have a similar vibration issue. New tires, mounts, bushings, alignment, rotors, pads and bearings. Not much changed.
But when I took a different route to work, not the same highway, the ride was good. Perhaps its the highway road surface!
