Default Cylinder 6 Misfire

I got a 01 s80 from my dad not to long ago, and recently the cars been giving me some problems, the biggest being the check engine light being on. I went and got it checked out and the code read that cylinder 6 is misfiring. I don't know to much about cars, but I know that I don't have the money to go to the Volvo guys to get it fixed, being a college student and all. The car itself studders when idling, can I get some info on what parts should be replaced and how hard it would be to fix myself?

Most likely you need a new ignition coil. Each cylinder has their owm coil. You can get one for $50. A very easy job to replace. Remember that the number six cylinder is the one closest to the driver side. Keep us posted.

Try swapping coil 5 with 6 and see if the code changes.
