i just registered to the forum as i purchased a late 2006 s80 yday and then noticed last night when it got dark that there is an issue with the door sill lights that are housed in a metal trim that has volvo written on it and lights up kind of blue colour.

The issue is that the passengers side front and back lights up when the corresponding door is opened but flashes instead of just staying light and the drivers side front and back dont light up at all when the corresponding door is opened.

its a uk rhd model, 2.4d se geartronic.

can anyone shed any light on what could be wrong please?
