Door chime interior lights issue
Ok, i've searched the threads and found out about the door chime/ no interior lights issue. turns out fuse #15 i believe is shot. so today at work while i on break i popped a new fuse in and everything seemed ok.....for all of ten minutes. it seems like there's a short somewhere, are there any easy sure fire ways to find the culprit? also, if it's going to be a nightmare, i'm not above cutting the wire to the chime. It's basically a beater commuter car, a great car mind you but not something i'm willing to go crazy over. any help is appreciated guys, you've bailed me out more than once!

On the theory that misery loves company, I've had the same problem for the past year with an 850 NA 1996 wagon. Put #15 fuse in, drive for 10 minutes, fuse blows. The bad news is that the diagnostic port is on the same circuit, but the good news is that if I stick a new fuse in #15 and don't move the car, I can get the codes.
I like the idea that it's a short in one of those wires that go from the body to the door, but I haven't had any luck actually finding it. If you get this sorted out, please, let me know.
