The driver seat on my 02 S80 does not move. It's all the way back and I cant move it forward or up or down. I usually don't drive all the way back like a ganster but for now I have to. Anyone know what might be the problem. I checked all the fuses and they work fine.

 

Did the plug under the seat come unplugged?

 

No all the plugs work. Do you think it's the motor under the seat and if it is how much would it take to change it?

 

My Lincoln's power seat used to get stuck (it had the exit seat feature that would draw it back), it was just the motor not catching the spindles. I turned off the exit feature and as I was pushing forward on the seat from the back seat I had a friend push the seat motor switch and the seat caught and all was well.

Can you hear the motor turn on when you push the switch? Does it move in any other direction (ie. Up/Down or Tilt)
