Default Drivers low beam not working?

Hi, thanks to anyone who can help. 2008 Volvo S80 t6. Recently my drivers side headlight would flicker rapidly at start up then wouldn’t work. DRL High bean and side markers are fine. I changed the bulb. Nothing. I removed the assembly and found the two wires for the low beam were very frayed and exposed. I cut the wires as best I could and heat shrank a new H11 connector on and taped it. Still nothing. I can only assume it’s a fuse but I truly can’t find any info on location. Any info is helpful. Thanks.

sorry they are standard halogen that I swapped out to led. They worked great for a year then recently the drivers side quit. I heard that older models used separate fuses. It’s a great car that I’m proud to own I’d just love to figure this out.

typically there are fuses and relays. On most post 2000 models the low beam relays are inside the CEM (central electronic module). Fuse locations/slots are listed in the owners manual, so I'd check the fuses first, then measure the voltage at connector at the lamp and then check the ground and go from there. You'd probably need to dig up a wire diagram to see if you have voltage in/out of the CEM.
