ECM-2320 Injector cyl 2 - signal missing
Hello,
It is a Volvo S80 2002 2.9i 2922ccm B6294S2 engine code.
6 cylinders

We inspected with repairman, try to spray the connectors with contact spray. But still the same. Repairman told maybe injector is worn. Injector 2 start sometimes when engine reach working temperature. Other injectors working fine, so i have 5 cylinder now. Replacement part only arrives after Christmas holiday.
I need to drive the car at Christmas. 1 hour drive to address, stay there, then some hours later 1 hour drive back.
Now the car turns off cylinder 2, but other 5 works. Can I use it for that 1+1 hour drive?

did the tech swap the injector with one next to it to see if the fault moves with the device? Personally I would not drive a long trip with a wonky injector that may cause a lean condition that can risk burning a valve unless you decide to unplug both the injector and the coil pack - but as noted that's just my personal opinion. With the injector off (assuming its not leaking) and no spark, you'd just be pushing air through that cyl.
