I have the iddle surging issue for a long time now. When I brought my car into the dealer, they said without any code or engine light. They will charge me for service. So I decided to wait for engine light so I can get the updated warranty to solve the problem.

Saturday, I had the emission service require and engine light came on. I was thinking about bringing it in on Monday. But on Sunday, after driving a 15mile trip on the freeway, the lights went off.

Question: Is this mean the code already got set into the system and they will be able to pull it? Or do I have to wait until the lights stay on permanently?
