Fuel filter leak after dealer work
Hello all
Recently after having the throttle body cleaned, my s80 developed a massive fuel leak and I had to have it towed.
The dealer said wrong filter and O ring was missing. My question is, is the fuel line disconnected when servicing the throtttle body?
I had the fuel filter changed at a non dealer 7000 miles ago and was fine untill then, no gas leak. I can not see how I could drive all this way if this was the problem.
I am not sure who to point the finger at.
Thanks
Hank

NO the fuel line is not touched when the throttle body is cleaned.
The throttle body itself is not even connected to the fuel line or anything like that.
