Default Fuel Line to Fuel Rail on 2010 3.2L Connection

I replaced the spark plugs, coils and fuel injectors as part of maintenance on a car I acquired a couple of months ago. I now have trouble starting the vehicle - takes 1 - 2 tries for it to start. My assumption is that I am losing the fuel pressure in the fuel rail.

I replaced the part on the left which goes into the fuel rail and the fuel line goes into it. I had ordered two of these and found that the same part has differences. One of the units has a hole for a screw and the other does not have a hole for a screw. The part on the right is the one I am having issues with. Once I connect the fuel rail there is no room for me to insert the part on the right into the one on the left to hold the fuel line in place. Anyone have experience with these and can offer advice as to how to connect them together. The VIDAS parts manual shows both items, but the instructions only shows the one on the left. I also replaced the rubber seal in the fuel rail where the fuel line connects. I'm assuming I'm losing pressure here. It could of course be a bad seal on one of the injectors.

Just get the proper thread on AN adapters for all the barbs. Fragola sells their Pushlok/Pushlite fittings for a pretty reasonable price. Simple to install and everything is rated for EFI pressures. Also American Made products.
