Default Fuel Pump nut tool replacement?

Hi,

I'm replacing my fuel pump (cracked plastic on outlet nipple). I see VADIS calls for special tool to remove nuts holding pump and cover on left side in. I forged ahead without the tool, but can't remove nut.

Any suggestions for common tool to remove these, without time and expense of buying volvo special tool 999-5720?

Thanks
eric.

I have never removed a pump without the tool and pretty much doubt it can be securely locked in place sealing the pump/o-ring without it.

Default What worked....

I purchased a generic in tank fuel pump spanner wrench at the main napa in my town (the branch locations were no help)... It worked quite well, after I ground it down in order to fit the volvo rings. was $18
