Hi everyone,
My 99 v70 has 103K miles and runs perfect.
Last week while driving my blower stoped working.
I check for the fuse first and was burned ( 20 amps )
I replace it and as soon i turn climate control switch all the way it blows it again.
Ichecked climate control unit and it is ok alsoi havereplaced a/c relay.

Tryied with 30amp fuse-same problem.

Sounds like you have a bad blower motor and resistor.

 

Thanks for fast reply, i now where and how to replace the blower but i have no idea how does the resistor look like and where is lockated.
Should i replace both at the time or try with just the blower first and then if wont help resistor?

I would do both usually when the blower motor goes bad it takes out the resistor.
The resistor is to the left of the blower motor. It should have 2 plugs going to it.

thanks to all your help guys i fixed it yesterday. It took me less then 1h to get it done.
Looks like the blower was borken.
First i changed resistor and tryied, had sasme problem.After i changed blower it is working just fine.
