help with headlights

Red face help with headlights

hi everybody,when i start my car the headlights are in the o position ,but the headlights are on.basically i cant drive with no lights.any help

That is the way it is designed. Volvo will not turn off the daytime running lights anymore.

I quite like the DRL's, seeing as the lights are on as soon as I start the car, never have to worry about forgetting to put them on... also pretty handy when the weather changes quickly..

When I switch back to the accord, sometimes i forget the lights for a few seconds cause im so accustomed to them being always on in the volvo..

Some Volvo dealers will deactive them. Power Volvo of South Bay Torrance Ca. deactivated my DRL's for only $30.00.

Yes but lately I think Volvo is putting a hault on that. We had a Cust. with a 05 S40 and wanted them disabled and not one dealer would do it. We had Vida but you need a software part# to be able to do it and Volvo would not give it up.
