Unhappy Help, I seem to have sprung a leak!

Afternoon fellow Volvo pilots.

So, I have an issue I'd like some help with before taking the car to a shop - simply because I don't have the cash at the moment to deal with this.

I'll be brief - the car seems to leak when it rains, and I'm not talking about the outside. Whenever it rains, the inside of the car on the passengers side seems to be taking on water, and when I start the car and pull off after it's been raining overnight, I hear what sounds like a slurping or draining noise. Some time later, the floor of the passengers side is wet, both front and back. I have no idea what's going on with this situation, and the only thing I've been told is that the water seal(?) is bad... I feel I should also mention that water drips from both the passengers side and drivers side around the ceiling occasionally.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Do you have a sun roof? Search for leaks and sunroof on the forum, i believe there is something there about the drains getting plugged and leaking. I've never had the problem but seen enough posts on it to know it's a common problem.
