I've determined my R&P is leaking and needs replacement, I found an R&P rebuild service on ebay for $125, I'd like to save myself $1000 and do it myself.

So I'm wondering if anyone has a link to a post or can give me detailed instructions on the correct order of disassembly to remove the R&P.

Is it an easy or complicated job for a novice backyard mechanic?

Also has anyone heard of Garo Steering?
He is the one on ebay that will rebuild it for $125?
Any pros or cons to me going this route?
I don't mind waiting a week or so if it will save me the $$$$.

 

It is kind of a pain. But you have to support the motor and drop the subframe in the rear.
