98 S70 with bad tie rod and leaky Rack and Pinion.

Would like to just replace the bad tie rod now and do the rack and pinion later.

From a labor point of view will this cost more to do them seperately or is it about the same either way?

Do I need to replace both tie rods if one is bad?

It is about the same, and no, you do not need to do both. Alignment recommended.
