just replaced the leather on the drivers seat. Have put seat back in and getting srs message and airbag light is on. Dos it need to be reprogrammed or can i disconnect the battery or what

 

Usually the codes need to be cleared. I bet you turned the key on with the seat out.

 

Did you have an upholstery shop replace the leather?

 

Yes a local shop did the work. Just talked to Richards Volvo Repair in Gainesville Fl he does some work for me. Said the codes would have to be cleared. Said the same thing about the key. He said there would be no charge to clear them.

 

Sweet! I like freebies..... BTW, how much was it to redo the leather ? I am looking for a place, but am looking for estimates.

 

I pd 225.00 for the drivers seat she used something like leather cannot tell it from the real thing
