Ahmed,

Scan Tech parts in most cases are as good as original. I have in my hand right now tie rod ends and sway bar links from FCP Groton and the quality is just fine. I have purchased many parts from FCP and have had ZERO problems.

Thanks Tech

The part is pretty cheap but I see that it is an aftermarket part. Will it last long. I heard some aftermarket parts dont work well on volvo's. Please give me your opinion before I place the order.

Thanks

And I will call them and ask how much the OEM parts are. But I still want your opinion on me buying the Aftermarket part.

SCANTECH sucks!!! We have had way to many problems with scantech parts. Aftermarket isn't that bad as longas they aren't scantech.

Tech,

What Scan Tech parts are to be avoided? The Sway Bar endlinks I have are Scan Tech. The Tie Rod bags have FCP stickers but are not Scan Tech bags.

Your advice has been great in the past so I would like to know what to look out for in way of Scan Tech parts.

Only a very few things from scantech are ok. Those parts you have are the better ones. We have had to warranty about 10 lower control arms that were scantech this year already.
