2001 S80 t6. the car sounds like it is in neutral (wont drive) after running for a few minutes. if i let the car sit for a sec then crank it up it will drive for a few miles then it won't drive, just rev up. please help somebody

 

trans. same thing happend to me. 2004 s80 t6. dont bring to ammco transmission they will charge u $3,500.00 to get it rebuilt. any small trans shop will do for less. and not over fill your trans like they did to me they almost ruined it.

 

That's hard on the ears...that's the tranny.she be done. ..let us know what happens please were all here for you ..........dam it

 

Do you have a check engine light on ??

Have you checked the fluid level and what does the fluid look like for color ??

 

When it first happened I had two codes, it gave me a incorrect forth gear ratio and some kind of, auxiliary output auxiliary input code. I cleared them a little while afterwards and they haven't popped up since. I checked the tranny fluid and it was a little high and very dark in color, like a dark dark maroon
