hi to all .

can any one help ? i have a 97 s70 . it has the 2.5 pet non turbo .

the thing is it seam to have no maf . i have resered that the 850 and erly 70s had one bilt in too the air fillter box . then latter one had the indapened type .

it seams that i have nether of these in stad i have in it place a air tempercher sender ( blue top) . i looked all around the engine where it shold be . no sine and no sine of the 4 wire conecshion for it . dose any one know y this is and have any one had the same . many many thanks

 

They all have a MAF. It is located just behind the air filter box. If you can not find it, step away from the motor.

 

First there is no such thing as a 1997 s70 ,they started them in 1998,a 97 would be an 850,it,s attached to the air filter box.

 

Actually some countries got S70's introduced in '97. Some countries do not recognize cars built in '97 as being '98 models.
