Default Help with Window coming off track

The incident happened driving home on friday afternoon.

I tried to open the driver side window and it became semi lodged (it has done this many many times in the future) so i did what i always did is close it and try to creep it down. I was doing the same for the passenger side window since it does it as well. It worked fine with the passenger side window but it felt like the window on the driver said got off track and it was tilted at an angle at one point so i had to rest it somehow without taking off the door and lined it up.

I live in Connecticut and we have had very much moisture and humidity the past almost 2 weeks and i feel that might have something to do with it. at this point i have stopped using hte window all together.

Today when i came home from work i decided to try to get at it and removed the door panel, but ended up seeing the metal door panel behind the plastic exterior door panel. im assuming i would have to get into that to try to fix the problem.

im assuming others have had this problem, how should one go about fixing it? are there any guides out there to look to find?

thanks in advance

There is no "track" with today's power windows like you are thinking about from a 68 Dodge.

The regulator is broken, or components therein. The only fix is to replace. Not a bad job.

i read around a little bit and saw a few places say that i would need to get the computer or new regulator reprogrammed once they are put in.

is this true?
