You can remove the MAF by undoing the 2 screws and then clean it. I did mine on my S60 a few months ago. Brake Cleaner may be too harsh(?) so I picked up some MAF-safe cleaner. You can find it in your local parts store for $4-5. Spray a generous amount on the sensor tip and allow it to air dry. Put it back in and you should be good for another year or two.
